Albertsons - Browse
Opportunity: Research, UX/UI Design
Challenge: Redesign the Browse
Duration: May 2023 - Feb 2024
Context
At Albertsons, I worked on the consumer experiences. This refers to the browse project. Browse refers to a shopping category experience. It offers a wide range of items in each category.
There are over 25 categories, and each category has between 100 to 2,000 products.
To comply with my non-disclosure agreement, I have changed some of the quantitative data and omitted some information in this case study. All information in this case study is my own and does not necessarily reflect the views of Albertsons.
My role
I was an active contributor and leader of this project. Following the double diamond framework, I was the main contributor to the problem discovery and concept validation phases, while I led the design sprint effort for problem definition and solution discovery phases. I partnered closely with my internal stakeholders and collaboration across over 7 teams.
Result
Add to cart rate increase from 5% to 12%, which 240% increase.

My Process
I used the double diamond design process to discover problems, articulate design challenges, generate ideas, and refine solutions. Here are the shortcut links to each section.
